Be Prepared For Your Appointment
The COVID-19 vaccine is administered as an injection in the upper arm, so please be sure to wear appropriate clothing.
- Arrive to your appointment no earlier than 5 minutes.
- At check-in, please be prepared to provide a government-issued ID.
- A health care professional will administer the vaccine. After receiving the vaccine, you will proceed to a waiting area for 15 - 30 minutes as a precautionary measure to monitor for any reactions to the vaccine. While adverse reactions are rare, this waiting period is required for everyone who receives the vaccine.
- Return for your second appointment. The second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is essential. If you miss your second dose, you may not develop a sufficient level of antibodies.
